Why You Need to Listen to Your Nervous System… 👇
Because at the end of the day, every symptom you have is a gentle (or loud) whisper your body is trying to speak to you as it longs for alignment and healing.
Today, we’re going to dive into how something as hidden and under-explored as a spinal subluxation can be negatively impacting your feelings of anxiety, depression, even constipation and paranoia.
Yes, this is another personal lesson from yours truly. And yes, I recommend you go see a chiropractor for spinal adjustments, preferably one that understands wholistic health and potentially is adept in the atlas orthogonal adjustment technique as well.
I can’t tell you how many times I have successfully diagnosed someone I know struggling with unexpected relentless anxiety, nervousness, or an extremely alarming LOCKED IN state of fight or flight as having a subluxation in their spine. Some are worse than others. Some people have a bodily hypersensitivity more loud than others. The most important thing I can ever recommend to clients and patients for the longevity of their health journey is to KNOW THYSELF.
You will forever be in the VERY best position to both listen to your body and better understand what your unique body needs in any unique time of your life. Use the physicians, use the coaches, use the doulas, use them all for your support, but at the end of the day you also have to listen to your body’s innate communication signals and you have to honor what your nervous system is ready for.
As I have just recently found
here on Substack, I’m already a fan.The following image really speaks volumes beyond what I have time to explain today, and it touches on many things I have been discussing with other health professionals and even friends behind the scenes.
It seems to me that we have been in the middle of a great awakening over the last few years and we have reached a new checkpoint along that journey to all be faced with a deep realization of our detached relationship we have with our very own nervous systems. (I’ve shared a recent Instagram post I made about this below)
