The Invisible Magic that Exists Within and Between Each of Us - Spiritual Awareness
Whether you are a faith-based seeker, holistic healer, empath, or otherwise you can tell when someone is truly something special.
A Wisdom Seeker and Teacher once told me: “When you know, you know. When you see, you see.”
Many people believe that in this world, each soul has a frequency.
Like attracts like and sometimes opposites attract too (you know those relationships where two people work so well together despite being complete opposites).
When we think of spiritual seekers, teachers, and “reachers” as I call them, we can so often notice with a 6th sense intuition when someone else lives their life at a similar frequency to ourselves. There are certain people that you know who fit this image, those who are always reaching out to the spirits inside the human skins we are wrapped within. It almost feels like they can see straight through us.
It’s magical, mystical, and worth our time and attention to listen to.
If you believe that you get back in this life what you give out, then we truly do have the capability to grow cultures and communities of love and compassion — if only we first believe in ourselves (and others).
“When you know, you know. When you see, you see.”
As individuals open to the energies of others, we are highly sensitive to the energy that other people give off around us. For better or for worse, the energy of the room and the people within it is very important for our success.
Therefore, we must protect our psyche and our hearts from the risks of energy vampires, despite how much we may still care about those people as individuals. We must also pursue energy givers as much as possible to help each other thrive in this life together.
This life may never be equal 50/50 in our relationships with other humans, and we cannot be perfect to dedicate 100% of ourselves 100% of the time, but we can certainly consider the relevance of the 80/20 rule – aka The Pareto principle – in our relationships.
Energy vampires can suck the life right out of us if we are not careful, even if they make up only 20% of our relationships in life. It’s likely they will pull our hearts and minds away from the 80% of people we authentically align with. For some of us, we must fight for our safety and security to keep our spirits well as we so swiftly can sacrifice our own personal wellbeing for the sake of others.
Spiritual leaders are often self-sacrificing and especially selfless. But, without a healthy awareness for the invisible energies passing between the persons, places, and things in our environments we can overextend ourselves and snowball into burnout and distressed spirits.
One of the biggest dangers to our society (and all of humanity) is the loss of spiritual leaders and seekers to help align our species in the direction of the honorable truth and steer us back on the path of righteousness, love, and community when end up blindly led astray.
If you consider yourself a spiritual seeker or healer, you must guard your heart and protect your spirit. You must honor your gifts to not let them get squashed by the weight of the world.
Yes, there is brokenness all around us. Yes, it breaks my heart too.
But are you capable of focusing your time and attention and healing energies on all the things? Absolutely not.
We are not titans of mythology. We are not gods of omniscience. We must recognize other healers and seekers in our world around us to grant us perspective and trust that we each have a small circle of influence in which we can focus our profound abilities and energies on without getting drained.
We cannot meditate on “all the things,” but rather we must focus our energy for potency and quality while growing ourselves and fostering a well-nourished forest of soil around us to cultivate the peace, love, and joy we hope to nurture in the world around us.
Yes, our vulnerable hearts could be led to believe we must be focused on the news and natural disasters to shed tears and restrict our joy with endless anxiety as we are led to focus on all the negative things happening around the globe. But if we lose ourselves into nothingness, we squelch the fire and passion that we were gifted with inside of us.
Awake oh sleeper, wake up to your calling and go!
Dear healer, guard your heart and protect your spirit.
Yes, you can give, but you can also receive. Yes, you can serve, but you can also conserve. Yes, you can give, but we cannot afford to let you give yourself away into the abyss.
To preserve your gifts and enlighten the souls around you, you must conserve your spiritual gifts and not the let the light inside of you go dark. I’ve seen far too many seekers and healers overextend themselves and lose their heart, lose their spark, and go dark on the inside.
We are all affected by the loss of spiritual leaders, seekers, and healers. The invisible magic in which they hold inside themselves is a painful loss for all of humanity. While the effects may seem invisible to the naked eye, they are undoubtedly felt by the gut-wrenching pit in our stomach when we are stuck in darkness and lose someone composed of light and love.
You see, healers and seekers are composers and maestros of light and love. We cannot lose them for fear of missing out on the beautiful musical melody that happens when we let them lead the orchestra of instruments in this life. Otherwise, chaos and aimless noise drowns out the news and shuns the soul from looking up with hope and optimism.
They say music can pierce the soul, so what then can we say about spiritual seekers and healers?
Without them we are lost. With them, we feel seen and heard. They help encourage us to know we are both seen & heard and even understood.
If you consider yourself a wisdom seeker, holistic healer, empath, or otherwise, I encourage you to guard your heart and keep your eyes open as you help lead us to the light.
We need you.
We thank you.
Stay safe. Stay seeking. Stay beautiful.
