destroying their chance at a naturally healthy happy life… Why have we grown complacent amidst the damages? When will we step up?
Food is Marketed at Kids, and none of this food tends to be a healthy choice - just look at the most recent Sesame Street Cereal - Enraged me at the store when I came across it myself… 🌽
Corn, and sugar.. pretty much that’s it. Highly processed, likely GMO and ☣️ Glyphosate ☢️ ridden corn with sugar.. welcome to breakfast. 🥣
Most kids who experience weight gain, depression, anxiety…? Most of the time they have some caged up energy or restricted creativity, joy, energy, SOMETHING they need to release… there is something going on in their biology that’s holding them back.. the life they are living is not the optimally tuned and tweaked life for the growing child to thrive - that’s just the facts.. 🤒
Kids go through far more than what they should these days.. we need to stand up and step in for their futures..
One of the most overlooked concerns in children’s health today is that kids are NOT SLEEPING like they should be. 💤
Without good sleep, we have impaired immune system, impaired digestion, neurotransmitter production, hormone regulation, and more.
Less sleep = more sugar and caffeine, this is common for adults with broken decision making resilience but it’s also present with our kids
The amount of junk food force fed to our kids is astonishing and absolutely disgusting once you know the facts
From Sugar Sweetened Beverages 🥤 to “Energy” Drinks ✨ even Juice, 🧃. Colorful Drink Powders, 🌈 🍭 and Sports Drinks
Insane rates of childhood obesity, diabetes, depression, anxiety, and more. 🤕
Unnecessary processed carbohydrates are wrecking havoc on our kids’ immune systems, destroying mitochondria health and injuring organ systems from such an early age - welcome us to NAFLD with Kids, that’s right…. 😔
Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease - growing as shocking rates in children, likely related to impaired metabolism from sedentary lifestyles, an abundance of high fructose corn syrup, sugar sweetened beverages, 🥤 and more.
SO WHAT CAN WE DO? ⁉️
Prioritize Sleep, Calm, Love, Relaxation, Whole-Foods, Real-Foods, Eliminating fake “foods” like highly processed, ultra-processed, junk foods that interact with the body in non-biologically appropriate ways… if you can’t read the ingredients than why should we trust the chemicals and potential binders, fillers, preservatives, and other harmful “additions” to the “formula” that is called food these days?
Monitor screen time, putting away tech and removing screen time 2+ hrs before bed and at least 1+ hr after waking, allow the body to naturally awake and naturally shut down in the evening without the artificial stimuli of screens, tech, and social media. 🌅

Me Time: Don’t forget YOU! Don’t forget self-care! You can’t very well help take care of others without first taking care of yourself. Start your day with a daily check-in, before you take on the crazy world, you need to make sure you’re breathing, comfortable, calm and secure :)
QUICK THE AIRPLANE IS CRASHING ✈️ “1ST GRAB THE OXYGEN MASK FOR YOURSELF and then for your neighbor” 💺
Screen Time Sabbath 📵 2hrs before bed and at least 1 hr after waking up; this is going to help support your natural circadian rhythm (sleep cycle) and promote daily hormonal regulation too
Gratitude Journaling 📝 maybe 5 min at night before you go to bed or 5 min in the mid morning when you can find some time to yourself
Stillness - yes, just simply staying still, remaining still is one of the most overlooked daily practices we can include in our lives to help us balance out the constant daily grind. Daily Stillness is highly revered in nearly every culture and religion across the globe. This is definitely not a waste of your time, but rather an incredible investment in your day
Reclaim the Dining Table 🍽️ WOOOOO LET’S GO!! YES!!! - We know the powerful relationship building that can be found by simply eating dinner with one another each evening :) Dedicate and prioritize that family time to come together, especially as we have so many distractions pulling us apart!

Let’s read that again…
‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
Interesting, if loving our neighbor is the end result, loving ourselves is the first step.. for us to lavish love on to others, we must first love ourselves..
So, in order to get to loving others, we must first love ourselves.. and if we struggle to love ourselves appropriately we’ll probably lack the capacity to love others as much…
Let’s consider this a bit more..
A + B = C
Acknowledging Our Need for Self-Love and Self-Care + Loving Ourselves = Our Greater Abilities to Love Others
Prioritize Your Needs + Loving Yourself Abundantly = Greater Pouring Out of Love to Others.
Without first loving ourselves, we’ll likely grow resentful, empty, broken and broken-hearted on the inside, and then seemingly dismiss all potential love to shown back our way in return.. BUT GUESS WHAT?! - if we shut off the symbiotic flow of love we were designed for by not letting someone else love US, then we ACTUALLY PREVENT THEM from LIVING OUT WHAT THEY WERE CALLED TO DO THEMSELVES…
Don’t break the equation, don’t break the math.
The world might implode or explode or simply crumble to pieces without love.
Love Yourselves & Let Others Love You Back
Show Love to the World and Let the World Love You in Return
